Aux ruchers du Pays de Meaux
Présentation
Beekeeper harvesting in MEAUX since 1975 and therefore producer of local farm products (honeys, wax), the apiaries of the farm are spread mainly in the Pays de Meaux and Pays de l'Ourcq.
Aware of the environmental and health impact of our activity, we produce only local honeys (sedentary apiaries and no transhumance requiring travel, no frames full of honey in premises open to the public) and respect the bee and the consumer (provisions only with honey, no sugar substitutes in feed).
All our honeys are harvested using a battery-powered electric blower to avoid the honeys tasting of smoke from smokers or thermal blowers.
The label on each jar mentions the name of the Commune that benefits from the pollination of its flowers by our bees within a 3 km radius of the apiary (supporting REALLY local beekeeping by consuming local honeys thus helps maintain the continued presence of honeybees in these Communes).
As far as our Meldois hives are concerned, we currently offer for tasting and sale 4 different types of honey produced and harvested only in MEAUX.
All our monofloral honeys (acacia, chestnut, phacelia, buckwheat) and polyfloral honeys (creamy spring flowers, June flowers, summer flowers) are produced
LOCALLY exclusively by our bees (no purchase for resale of honeys, royal jelly, propolis, candies, soaps, vinegar, etc. not produced entirely on our farm in compliance with the regulations applicable to a beekeeper).
They are available for DIRECT SALE by appointment in MEAUX, 7 days a week, by calling 06 78 89 61 47.
All our honeys are packaged in 250g, 500g and 1kg glass jars.
