This charming 45m² house, fully renovated and located in the heart of the Fontainebleau Forest in Bois-le-Roi, is ideal for nature and climbing enthusiasts.
Comfortably furnished and carefully decorated, the house features a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed and a sofa that converts into a proper bed. There is an open-plan kitchen fully equipped and leading to the living room, a private bathroom with an Italian shower, and separate toilets. Bed linen is provided for your convenience.
A shaded outdoor terrace allows you to fully enjoy the peaceful setting (for a coffee or a yoga session).
A crash pad, a yoga mat, and board games are also available for your enjoyment.
The small town center of Bois-le-Roi, located near the train station, offers a bakery, a tobacco-bar-restaurant, a mini-market (open daily from 8 am to 10:30 pm), a bank, a florist, a post office, and a hairdresser. There is a market at the train station square every Sunday morning, and a pizza truck is just a 5-minute walk from the house every Saturday evening.
The banks of the Seine in Bois-le-Roi are about a 10-minute walk away. You can also enjoy the nearby leisure island with many activities for the whole family (golf, horseback riding, etc.). Fontainebleau Forest offers over 50 exceptional climbing spots and numerous hiking trails. The nearby Rocher Canon and Bas Cuvier can be accessed by car (10 minutes) or on foot (30 minutes).
The historic village of Barbizon, known for its painter's history, with many restaurants, is just a 10-minute drive away. The Château de Fontainebleau is also 10 minutes away (by car or by train or bus from Bois-le-Roi), and the Château de Courances is 20 minutes away.
