The must-see animal parks in Seine-et-Marne
If you love the great outdoors, why not spend a whole day exploring the Parc des Félins, a 75-hectare nature reserve in Lumigny, in the heart of the Brie region.
For this visit, choose the morning because that's when you'll have the chance to get up close to the animals and see the lions, white tigers, panthers, jaguars, lynxes... and other smaller felines such as the different species of cat. Finish off in the parrot aviary, and don't forget to spend some time in the play area. The park also offers themed events and activities for children throughout the year. Are you fascinated by colours? Then head for the Parrot World animal park, located in the heart of the Brie region in Crécy-la-Chapelle, just a few minutes from Paris. This animal park is dedicated to parrots and rare animals such as giant otters and penguins. At the Bois d'Attilly zoo, set between forest and lake near Ozoir la Ferrière, you can admire a host of animals from the African savannah, the American West and the steppes, including giraffes, lions, hyenas, bears and bison... The park is home to a mini-farm with donkeys, goats, alpacas and sheep - kids love it! And don't miss the gluttonous snacks given to the hippos, chimpanzees and wolves in this animal park. And if you love animals, don't hesitate to visit our zoos in Seine-et-Marne.
Parks committed to biodiversity
The preservation and reproduction of animal species is an indisputable challenge for our Seine-et-Marne animal parks. Committed to protecting fragile and endangered animal species, the animal parks are designed and structured to respect the balance of the animals and their well-being as much as possible.
When you visit the Parrot World wildlife park, you'll meet around a hundred wild animals, many of them threatened with extinction, in their natural Amazonian and Patagonian habitats. Parrot World works with the Parrot Wildlife Foundation, an organisation involved in the conservation and reproduction of endangered psittacines, as well as all the species present in their natural habitats. Here, everything is designed to ensure animal welfare and to reproduce spaces identical to those found in these regions of the world.
When you visit Lumigny Safari Réserve, you'll find yourself in a vast forest estate covering more than 90 hectares in the heart of the Brie region of Seine-et-Marne, where you can enjoy an abundance of nature, home to numerous species of birds and small mammals all year round. There is no excessive mowing, no unreasonable pruning, no mass felling, not even weeding, to preserve all the biodiversity of the estate. This animal park is also committed to the NGO Panthera and has been a member of the Association Française des Parcs Zoologiques since 2021.

For a memorable family experience, discover the animal parks and educational farms of Seine-et-Marne! Take a trip to the Saint-Hilliers farm to discover the animals and observe their environment. Children can take part in activities such as brushing donkeys, collecting eggs, cutting wool from sheep's backs, milking goats and feeding rabbits and cows.
Don't forget to stop off at the Hi-Han farm in Roissy-en-Brie to meet animals that children don't really know, such as guinea fowl, roosters and turkeys... On this farm, which is not a zoo, visitors can get up close and personal with all the park's residents, touch them, feed them and learn how vegetables grow.
Supervised visits allow children to discover the reality of the animal and plant world, to awaken their senses, and to listen and talk. We know how curious children are about everything when it comes to animals.
